Recycle IT...a HUGE success thanks to our community!

ITConnexx thanks Nicolet Restaurant, RecycleThatStuff.com and other volunteers for their efforts in receiving and organizing the many recyclable computer components received in response to our Earth Day Recycle IT celebration!

April 22, 2011 was an amazing day for our planet. We were just one of many organizations participating or helping to host Earth Day events in our community and worldwide.

We accepted so many monitors, computers (desktop and laptop), printers (laser and inkjet), scanners, hard drives, mice, keyboards, speakers, cords, cables, software, and ink and toner cartridges. AND just wait until you hear how much was collected! We gathered a total of 39,569 lbs for recycling which included: 486 Monitors = 6,149 lbs, Printers: = 5,588 lbs, and CPUs = 9,884 lbs. A total community effort. View a television newscast!

So many of you enjoyed lunch after dropping off your stuff. We thank you for saving some time in your busy Friday to particpate.
